Drive to  Somewhere

We will leave from the Walmart on HY 25 in TR at 9:00...We will work our way over to Hy 414 and then  over to HY 14,,we will take hy 14 into Landrum and over to Hy9... From here we will take all back roads and country roads  into North Carolina...Too many roads to name them all, but we will end up on hy 9 on Black  Mt. and we will continue on hy 9 into Chimney Rock/Lake lure area where we will have lunch.

 

The return route will be more NC back roads and ending up at same intersection where HY 14 meets HY 9.

 

I have driven most of this route except for the roads that will take us to HY9 on Black Mt...This will not be  a 2nd and 3rd gear mountain climbing drive. It will be a nice curvy 3rd and 4th gear drive with a lot of farm land, pastures and cows.  It will be a great drive if we catch a nice warm day and are able to have the tops down.

We should be in the Greer area around 3:00
